• Swivel load bearing - this unique design forged swivel section with 1/2" dia. carbon steel balls in a 3"dia. raceway accommodates both thrust and load forces because of its kingpinless design; the swivel raceway is precision machined and induction hardened.
• Finished in bright zinc plating
• Top plate and fork base are hot forged steel that has been induction hardened to ensure uniform depth of hardness in the swivel races
• Fork legs are 5/16" thick, 2 1/2" wide formed steel, with inside and outside welds for extra strength
• Wheel axle - 3/4"dia. axle with lock nut
• Fork leg spacing - 3 1/2" 
• Lubrication fittings in swivel and wheel axle
• Swivel casters provided with 4-position swivel lock slots, for field installation
• Sealing cap welded to outer case assures protection from foreign material and keeps grease in swivel

Series 105SB casters are made from forged steel. Top plate and inner raceway are formed from one piece, providing a  superior  raceway construction for shock conditions. This forged design outperforms the standard steel plate welded to tubular steel inner races, especially in abusive and impact-loading conditions.
